Basic L-mail Functions

The information in this section explains how to use the most common features in L-mail.

The most basic concept is that you can mail any document with any attachment using this system.
As the document and attachments need to be printed prior to mailing, the easiest format to work with
is Microsoft Office WORD for the cover document, and Adobe PDF for the attachments.

These formats are nearly universal and well recognized worldwide. There are examples of these formats
in the "Mail Job Projects" section.

Other formats, such as picture files (jpeg, bitmap, ico, etc) are best used as inserts into a WORD document.
However, in the event that inserts into WORD are not appropriate, the a simple conversion to PDF files is
performed prior to selection as an attachment.
There are examples of these formats in the "Advanced L-mail Functions" section.
